I think I have decided on a platform. I know almost nothing on any of them, so I decided to go with the one that scares me the most…TikTok! Crazy, right!? Well, if I am going to do this thing it has to be ‘go big or go home!’ I am facing my fears! Lol!
Spent some time on TT last night and got a profile picture up and looked at a bunch of videos and established a business account. Understand that I have been the most un techie person you could know so for me to get this far is kinda a big deal and I am pretty stinkin proud of myself.
Of course there is a ton of stuff to learn but it all begins with Baby Steps!
Spent some time this week going over the tutorials as I feel like I am missing something and it has given me some clarifications that I hadn’t completely understood and surprisingly, I seem to have put things together pretty well, so there is that.
This, so far, has been quite the deal for me. All of this was so foreign to me, using the internet for anything other than looking something up. It really matters to have a great mentor like Dean Holland and I hope to be able to help folks in the future discover their potential in online marketing as well.
My goals for this week are to watch the last 2 segments of the Affiliate Systems training modules (again) spend time in TT learning what I need to know to put my first video up. Scared and pretty excited all mixed together. With that said, I do think I ‘Got This!’ By the end of next week it is my plan to have that up and running so I definitely have some work to do. I will absolutely keep you all posted on how this goes! Subscribe here to join in my journey!
A side note: I had my profile picture up maybe 5 minutes and 2 people liked it…go figure!!!

Hi Kae! Good for you and I am with you on choosing your platform. What trainings in Affiliate Sistems or Internet Profits are you using? I am creeping to TikTok as well. What is your username so I can check you on the platform? Have a great week!
Actually, I am just cruising along with Affiliate Marketings tutorials and going to TikTok and watching a ton of how to’s on their platform. I keep re watching a lot of stuff form Affiliates mostly, I always feel like I am missing something. I think that is mostly because the internet still seems so ‘foreign’ to me. If you have any tips, I would greatly appreciate any help.!

Crazy is right! Way to go on choosing a platform. I think for me, I will just create videos that promote my blog content each week and post them on my social media platforms. Given that I don’t have the gift of gab – a few short sentences will have to do.

That’s a great strategy. Do the 1 that scares you most. I’d add don’t procrastinate too much. Get your phone. Shoot the video straight into TikTok. Just introduce yourself and what you do. You can start over if you don’t like it but don’t go for perfect. We’re human. Not perfect and people like .transparancy these days.
This is true for most things…great advice!

TT is fun. I now send my blog post everywhere but can’t seem to post the videos I do on TT.
So I just create a new one there and will do that going forward.

Kae, hi, I too am planning to use TikTok and I am pretty scared too. I think we just have to go for it as it’s a huge platform. I think as long as you just be yourself be authentic and real you will appeal to people. If you try to be something you’re not or appear to be acting then it shows a lack of authenticity. You should be proud of yourself! You have come along way from where you started from.
This goes to show what can be accomplished if one sets their sights on it.
I am also proud of you for getting outside your comfort zone. It’s not easy but the reward & growth are so worth it.
